The Wall of Love (Le mur des je t’aime) in Paris, France is a love-themed wall of 40 square meters (430 sq ft). If you ever visit Paris, go to the Jehan Rictus garden square in Montmartre and that’s where you find this unique art installation dedicated to love. The wall was created in 2000 by two artists - Frédéric Baron and Claire Kito as a tribute to the diversity and universality of love. In a way, this wall became a symbol of connection and reconciliation, rather than division and separation. The Wall of Love is composed of 612 tiles of enameled lava, on which the phrase “I love you” is transcribed 311 times in 250 languages. The phrases "I love you" are written on the wall in all of the major languages as well as some uncommon ones like Navajo, Inuit, Bambara, and Esperanto.
