In 1973, Angus Young was only 18 when he and his 20-year-old brother Malcolm formed the Australian hard rock band AC/DC. Angus played lead guitar while Malcolm was the rhythm guitarist. These two guys were not the only musicians in the large Young family. Their older brother George played in the popular Australian 1960s band the Easybeats, while another brother Alex was the bass player in the British band Grapefruit. AC/DC's line-up changed several times, but the two Young brothers always remained the backbone of the band.
